Poem A Day Challenge #15

Mysterious magic Apple

I’m sitting on a park bench

reading a book peacfully…

A shy boy that I know 

gives me a mysterious

shiny rosy red apple

and runs away

I thought I knew

what it meant and

took a bite, crunch!

The juicy juice squish

through my teeth…

After I’m done my

heart starts to beat

like crazy and I feel

like my face is burning up

as red as the apple he gave me

It’s like he put a magic potion

that makes me of  why I ate

the mysterious magical apple (he gave me…)

Apple Tears

I’m sitting on a park bench

reading a book peacfully

I see a truck full of apples

coming by and look

at the view  with sweet eyes 

Thump! Thump! Thump!

A shiny red apple that doesn’t

have enough space rolls out

and gets crunched

Juice squirts out in all

directions like tears

The driver drives away

like he has seen nothing

I feel sorry for the apple,

mad at the driver

and walk away to 

where there is happiness

I am a frog

Green as a juicy melon

I can hop

I can catch a fly with my tongue

I can sing a beautiful song

on a rainy day on a lily pad

I am a naked mole rat

Peach as human skin color

I can hold a rock that is

1000 times as bigger than me

I am only three times as big

as a five hundred one

(three times as big as a fifty cent)

I can make a house

that looks like an ant house 

(but much bigger)

I am the world’s 4th ugliest creature

I was having a sweet dream

for me to wake up

I went to the bathroom

Washed my face

And brushed my teeth

My tooth brush said

I was walking to school

And the bell rang

I was doing a math problem

And my pencil went

Scrabble Scrabble

Until the page was black

My textbook was on my desk

Slish Slash…. OWWWW!!!

A paper cut!

Drip Drop

Blood drops fall

To the floor splattering

On the ground

I go to the kitchen and

Open Close Open Close

Some drawers for a bandade

Stick… Ow! Stick… Ow!

I put on the bandade and

Snooze Snore Snooze Snore

Go to sleep

Rain

The rain gets ready to

attack our land

It starts giving water to tree and plants

The left over rain flows

to the sewer and evaporates

to its home safely again

The sun hurridly wakes up

From its long nap

It spreads its golden light to blend it

on our dark land

It is on the puffy clouds

Watching people waking up

It yawn quietly

And has another sweet nap
